ISOC Regional at ERX
What a week! ETA Racing started the racing weekend on Thursday at the Grassroots race at ERX in Elk River. Ethan took 3rd in the combined class; unfortunately we lost our GoPro on the track that night. (The ERX crew is keeping their eyes open!)

The Saturday regional started shaky with a crash in round 1; Ethan was able to recover and salvage a 3rd place finish. In the next round he took first then won the final running away. Ethan signed up for the combined class in the afternoon and went 2 – 3 in the round racing. We had a scary moment in the final; when the green light dropped Ethan hammered it and was heading into the first corner with the hole shot when he got hit from behind and was ejected from the machine. As he laid on the track he got drilled in the back from one of the other machines. After some time in the ambulance Ethan was released with a bruised back.

After some rest and medication Ethan was ready to hit the track for the Sunday races. He insisted he was able to race and proved it on the track. Ethan flew around ERX going 1 – 1 in the round racing and finishing the day up with a 1st place finish. Despite losing a GoPro and sustaining an injury Ethan had an awesome weekend of racing with 2 first place finishes. Stay tuned as we are in Glyndon, MN in a few weeks for more racing.

Traxxas National at Canterbury
ETA Racing invaded Canterbury this past weekend for the Traxxas National. Ethan ran hard and was able to pull off a podium spot finishing in third overall for the day. He had a great time getting advice and watching the pros over the weekend. Stay tuned as we are back at ERX this coming weekend.

ISOC Minnesota Regional at Elk River
Couldn’t ask for a better weekend. Ethan started out the weekend celebrating his birthday with his family on Friday night. On Saturday he hit the track and was on fire, winning both of his qualifying rounds and taking home a 1st place trophy for the day. Sunday was an identical script of Saturday; winning both qualifying rounds and standing atop the podium when the dust settled. With the exception of a Thursday night race at ERX on the 29th ETA Racing will be off until the Canterbury National in early January. Stay tuned and we wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.

What a weekend!
Ethan started out the weekend in Bessemer, MI for the Blackjack Regional (MN, WI, and MI) and had a blast. In the first two rounds of racing Ethan was able to grab the hole shot and stay out front. The final was much the same with Ethan flying off the line and not looking back; earning the top spot on the podium for the day. After the races ETA Racing took off for the District 23 AMA Awards Banquet for the 2011 season where Ethan collected his 2nd place championship trophy in the highly contested 70 cc Production CVT class. We are all very proud of Ethan's accomplishments on the quad this past summer and we had a great time at the banquet with all of our racing friends. Stay tuned as Ethan will be back on the track this coming weekend.

MN Regional at Quanda Mountain Park
ETA Racing kicked off the ISOC MN Regional this past weekend at Quadna Mountain Park. In the Saturday races we battled mechanical issues and crashes all day. In the finals the top three riders got tangled up and one of them was Ethan. After getting the machines separated he took off and came off again through the rhythm section and could only manage a 4th place finish for the day. In the Sunday races we again struggled getting our machine to run in top form. When they dropped the flag in the finals Ethan's machine killed and he watched his competitors take off. Once the sled got running Ethan was on a mission; he started making his way through the pack and in the final corner on the white flag lap he made a pass on his good buddy to take to the lead and earn a victory for the day. Stay tuned for more exciting racing action coming soon.

What a way to start the season!
In Ethan’s debut in the Transition Limited class he took 1st place overall at the Amsoil Duluth National against the fastest kids from around from the country. He got great hole shots and took second place in both the opening rounds. In the finals he went into corner 1 in 6th but came out of corner 2 in 2nd and that’s where he finished the race and where he stood on the podium. However, when the machines went to tech the leader was disqualified, giving Ethan the victory. He loves his new sled and looks really comfortable on it; stay tuned as ETA Racing will be hitting the track again this weekend.
